Magic Mint Slice

This minty chocolate slice is the perfect after dinner treat to have with tea or coffee. You definitely won’t be able to stop at just one piece!



1. Melt butter, chocolate and water gently. Stir in the biscuit crumbs and peppermint essence and mix thoroughly.

2. Leave to cool.

3. Turn into aluminium foil and shape into a roll, approximately 3.5cm in diameter.

4. Wrap in the foil and refrigerate.

5. Cut into 5mm slices and if desired, dip one end in melted chocolate.


½ Packet Griffin's Digestive Biscuits (crushed finely)
30g Butter
150g Dark Chocolate
2 Tbsp Water
½ tsp Peppermint Essence
