
The Griffin's Story - 2000s
It's been over 140 years since Griffin's first started in Nelson. In that time we have had an exciting journey. Follow our history
from humble flour milling beginnings all the way to where we are today, one of New Zealand's largest branded food companies.
2000: Griffin's acquired the Sancho Corn Chips and Salsa Dips ranges from Cerebos Greggs Ltd.

2006: On 7th June, Pacific Equity Partners (PEP) purchased Griffin's Foods Limited from Danone.
2007: On 31st March, Griffin's Foods Limited acquired the Nice & Natural Wrapped Snacks business from Allen & Barbara Peters making Griffin's the number 1 'Snack Food Business' in New Zealand.

2008: $80m invested in the Papakura and Wiri manufacturing facilities.
Lower Hutt factory closes December 2008.
